നദിയ്ക്ക് എങ്ങോട്ടൊഴുകാന്‍ കഴിയും?
താഴേക്ക് താഴേക്ക് അല്ലാതെ...
പതഞ്ഞൊഴുകി തളരുന്നു
പതനത്തിനാക്കം കൂട്ടുവാന്‍.
പോയി മറഞ്ഞവര്‍ കൂട്ടുകാര്‍
അടിവാരം വരെ കൂടുകാരായിരുന്നവര്‍
എന്നേ പ്രണയിച്ചു പോയി
കടലിന്നടിയിലെ ഏകാന്തതയെ
ഇന്നെനിക്ക് നിന്റെ ഉപ്പ് വേണം
ചിതറുന്ന നിന്‍ ആവേഗങ്ങള്‍ വേണം
എന്റെ നിലവിളി കേള്‍ക്കാതെ
എത്ര ദൂരം പയിക്കും നീ നിന്റെ കുതിരയെ?
നിന്റെ യാഗാശ്വം ദിക്കുകള്‍ താണ്ടുമ്പോള്‍
ഞാനുന്ട്: എന്‍ തേങ്ങലുന്ട്
കൊട്ടിയടച്ചോരീ വാതിലിന്നിപ്പുറം
നീ വരും ഒരൂ രാവില്‍
കഥ മുഴുവന്‍ പകുക്കണം ആയിരത്തൊന്നായി
കടപുഴക്കി കശക്കിയ മരങ്ങള്‍ എത്ര?
അലിയിച്ചെടുത്ത ഉപ്പെത്ര?
കണ്ണീര്‍ വീണൊരു പുഴ.
ഇരുളിന്‍ മാറ് പിളര്‍ന്നു
പുളച്ചൊഴുകവേ തേടുന്നതെന്റിനോ
കനിവിന്റെ മര്‍മരം
കടലിരമ്പം....കടലിരമ്പം....
Not bad. The way of expression of your depressed mind is personified as the flowing river who seeks for the lost virtues and hope that one day those virtues will be retrieved. salt is a good symbol. It is more expressive because of the fact that it is the taste of extreme pleasure. All the other symbols are common in nature.Element of interrogation adds truthfulness to the depression. Sea and its offshore voice which is the ultimate missing element which has triggered the depression and the plot of this poem make this poem below average.To my opinion overall it is not a bad attempt.
